About Us

The Hui 'O Hawai'i of Yuma was organized in 2006 as a non-profit,
tax-exempt 501(c)(3) social club for Hawaiians and all others interested in Hawai'i.
The hui seeks to continually promote the Hawaiian culture and
provide social activities in the " Spirit of Aloha" (Spirit of Love).

Our Goals:
  • Promote Hawaiian heritage, culture and native customs among our members and others in the Yuma community.
  • Conduct fund-raising activities to provide money for student scholarships.
  • Provide Hawaiian food booths and entertainment at city/civic functions.
  • Sponsor lu'aus with Hawaiian entertainment to display the Hawaiian "Spirit of Aloha" to the people of Yuma.
  • Provide programs promoting Hawaiian heritage, culture and entertainment at city-sponsored and local civic nonprofit organization community events.
